After replacing the transmission fluid, make a note of the mileage, then from that point onward change the fluid at regular intervals to ensure the transmission lasts as long as possible.

Yes. Don't flush it. Only drain and fill.
Never flush. If you need to do a couple drain and fills, to get the fluid really clean, do that. Don' flush it though
