Transmission fluid flush

Hey scotty, I have a 2006 Chevy Impala LTZ 3.9L. I bought it with 90k miles on it and it currently has 129k miles, I’ve replaced a lot of parts and done a lot of work to keep up with maintenance and repairs. I recently got the transmission lines replaced because they were leaking. It doesn’t leak anymore but it feels like it’s still slipping when I drive sometimes. I’m not sure if it was ever done previously but I’ve heard from people that after 100k and no flush, it will cause problems if I flush the transmission fluid now. Am I able to do a transmission fluid flush?

That's those cars weak point. I wouldn't recommend a flush, but if you do keep the old fluid handy, you can put the old fluid back in incase the slipping gets worse. Instead of a flush I think you'd probably want to put that locus slip stop in it & pray. If it works realize you're on borrowed time, and when it starts to slip again thats probably it for the transmission. Maybe if the slipping goes away for a bit try to sell it, or you can see how long its lasts. Who knows, maybe thats why the previous owner sold it.

Never flush only exchange. Save the old fluid incase it starts to slip worse. As a bandaid you could try and put some Lucas anti slip and see if that helps.
