Hi Scotty, so I have a big issue going on with my car. I recently just bought a 2007 Infiniti M35. Before i bought the car i did a lot of research and even test drove the car and i fell in love with it. I bought the car 2 and a half hours away from where i live. The car drove perfect and has been absolutely perfect since i bought it 2 months ago, but the other day i was driving home from the gas station and i hit a red light and i seen the code pop up “service engine soon” at first i thought it was maybe telling me to get an oil change.. but then i noticed once the light turned green and i hit the gas and my car wouldent want to shift out of 2nd gear it just stays there.. i took it to get the code read by a computer and it says its the front brake solenoid... but i was wondering if it could be an issue because the lack of changing the transmission oil? Or it is really the solenoid itself? Im planning to buy the whole module for the tranny and it comes programmed and all that so it shouldent be that hard of a job for me.... but i just want to know your opinion on this issue first before i go ahead and buy the module... Please get back to me as soon as you can its really important.
What's the code you got?
