Hello, I hava a 2014 Toyota Rav4. 80,000 miles. The prior owner ( I just found out) never had a transmission oil change. I have noticed a little hard shifting only when the car is cold. Once it warms up it runs fine. Since noticing this problem have stopped driving it until my appt tomorrow at the mechanic to get the transmission flushed. Has anyone else ran across this? I keep seeing that my transmission is now fried and there’s no hope.
Got the transmission fluid changed...and rides like brand new.

You should not have the transmission flushed, just do a drain and fill.
