My wife has a 2010 Scion xB with an automatic transmission. I was driving it the other day and noticed it won’t shift into 4th gear. Just curious what you guys might think is the issue? Is that transmission done for or I’ve heard changing the transmission fluid could do more damage than good. What should i do? Thank you. Any help would be great.

If it isn't shifting into gear, there's more going on than just dirty transmission fluid. Something internal has failed and likely you'll need a rebuild/replacement.

Not much for a failure but the symptoms show it. Take it to a transmission pro to check it.
