Dear Scotty,
I have a Hyundai Santafe 2013 which I got recently from a friend with 143000 KM. Is it safe to change the transmission oil.
I have heard that the American cars, if the tranny fluid is not changed to leave as it is. However, please advise for this.
Clarification: How does the transmission fluid look (I.e. what color is it?) and is it shifting fine? Also, when was the last time it was changed out?

Yes its shifting ok.
