Why won't my transmission go past 3rd gear in my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse
What is the odometer reading please? I presume this is an automatic?

Mostly likely your transmission is starting to fail.

What's the mileage on that car? When did you service the transmission?

Does it have sufficient fluid? When is the last time fluid and filter were changed?
