2002 Honda Civic, automatic
75,000 miles
Does performing the transmission drain and filling 4x solves the problem for an automatic transmission shudder on Honda from 2002. I been using lubegard (60902).

Try it and let us know. Given that the car is 24 years old chances are it's just wearing out.
It's hard to be more specific when you don't provide basic information such as model, mileage, etc., as requested in the posting instructions.

@chucktobias it’s my 02 Honda Civic with 75k miles and I replace the transmission 3 times. This current one is a SLXA transmission. The first one was a BMXA transmission. Now I’m have a shudder problem and delay shifting when it’s at 40 miles per hour. And it’s has really poor acceleration
@chucktobias it’s has a P0420 code for the cat. Could the cat be clogged and cause poor acceleration? I’m trying to get a day where I can hookup my exhaust back pressure gauge at my shop.
@theblacktop Yes, a clogged cat (like any clog in the exhaust system) can definitely cause poor acceleration.
@chucktobias but could the transmission that is shuddering cause the motor to have poor acceleration?

A worn out transmission with bad clutches will slip, and accelerate poorly. Shudder or not.
Shudder is just another symptom of a worn out transmission with bad valves, or bad torque converter.

If the transmission is worn out and slipping, yes. There is a noticeable difference between the engine bogging down versus the transmission slipping.
