Turn signal issue, but hazard lights work

hi Scotty! Got a 2000 Honda odyssey Navigation with 186,000 miles on it. Recently my turn signal light and clicking have stopped. When I try to use the left or right turn signal nothing happens. No noise, no sound nothing. The hazards light work so i know it's not the bulb. I've tried replacing the turn signal switch to the left of the steering wheel but it changed nothing. I've checked the fuse underneath the dash and it wasn't blown. What could it be?

Check your turn signal circuit relay.

blinker module?

Sorry I'm not too familiar with Hondas.

A friend of mine has an old Triumph with this problem and in that car it is being caused by the 4-way flasher switch. The turn signal wiring is routed through that switch, and although the flashers work when those are turned off the switch is not restoring the turn signal circuit. I have no idea if your Honda is wired the same way as was done by Lucas the Prince of Darkness but it might be something to look into.

Lucas company motto - Get Home Before Dark.

I'm probably too young to remember Lucas. But I found these gems.

.

* Lucas is the patent holder for the short circuit.
* Lucas - Inventor of the first intermittent wiper.
* Lucas - Inventor of the self-dimming headlamp.
* The three position Lucas switch - Dim, Flicker and Off.
* The Original Anti-Theft Device - Lucas Electrics.

Owners of classic British cars the world over will attest to the importance of keeping a bottle of genuine Lucas smoke on hand at all times to replace the stuff that regularly leaks out.

The hazard lights are on the same circuit but current comes from hazard switch instead of left/right switch, which explains a few things. Since the hazards works, we know the bulbs and the relays work. You replaced the switch, therefore it works aswell. Since both turn signals are not working, the location of the problem is where it affects both. Without even looking at the wiring diagram, here's what to do:

1. Check the fuse again, make sure you checked the right one and try replacing it with a different fuse in case you didn't see correctly. Also be careful, some manufacturers use different fuses for each side and even a different one for the hazard lights, make sure you check the correct one.

2. If you looked at the fuse(s) again and it doesn't work, then you have either an open circuit or short to ground between the fuse and the junction point where the wires split to go to their respective side OR between the battery and the turn signal fuses, if there are one for each side.

*If any information you gave us is wrong or you made a mistake trying to find the problem, the whole diagnosis falls apart and has to be redone. Do not hesitate to reply to this answer.*

Usually, fast turn signal blinking is an indication of a bad turn signal flasher relay, or a bulb gone out.

The bulbs are fine but if turns out that Turn signal relay is bad I'm gonna have to find OEM one because I bought that one from Autozone.

Hey wanted to give an update. I replaced the Turn Signal relay hidden behind the fuses located on the bottom near the parking brake and the turn signal lights and clicking are working when i use turn signals. It almost seems like the lights are blinking quicker than normal but i'm not sure.

Are they clicking like twice as fast or is it barely noticeable?

Their not as fast as when a bulb is blown out but maybe a step below that.

Did you replace with the original spec bulbs?

I know the back i did 2 months ago but he front hasn't been changed. Their still blinking so I'm thinking of changing them anyway cuz their old.
