The car type is Toyota Prado 4 cylinder. The problem is that we are doing a computer test and the test shows the upper exhaust sensor and I changed the sensor that is installed in the exhaust, the upper sensor that is directly after the car engine. I changed it according to the computer report, but the engine light did not go out, which is the engine signal, i.e. check engine. So where is the problem?
Well realize those codes are relatively generic. If it trips, a code for a sensor doesn't necessarily mean the sensor is bad. It could be bad computer signal going to the sensor. It could be you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Then the sensor shows that it's lean and the computer trips that it doesn't know that there's a vacuum leak. It just knows the data coming from the sensor is staying lean. So I think something's wrong with the sensor. It can get very complex
