I saw this trick in many different places on the internet where you mix 1 quart of transmission fluid with your motor oil. So if your engine takes 5 quarts of oil then you can use 1 quart or transmisson oil then 4 quarts of motor oil.
Then drive for about 200 miles or so and do another oil change. It is suppsosed to remove the sludge from the engine. How safe is this and has anyone else tried it?
I can see caked on motor oil every time I open the oil cap. It is getting bigger.
You left out a few details...
I would use ATS 505 oil treatment and or Valvoline Restore & protect Motor oil and maybe try both not at the same time but if one or the other didn’t quite get all the sludge I would definitely try the 505 first personally I have had great results I ordered mine off eBay
