Used 2016 Buick Regal Turbo - What's the reliability like

I've already seen Scott's video on car brands rated from worst to best, so I get the general consensus on GM vehicles.  However, I thought Buicks were the exception?  I have found a used 2016 Regal Turbo 2.0 L with 51,000 miles on it.  It is a beautiful car and it is for a VERY good price.  The later is why I took a "THIRD" look and finally it for a test drive.  I was impressed.... it feels very solid and wow, all that power.   What I'd like to know is just how reliable this car is?  I have done my research online on the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia and its not very good tbh.  However, is the Buick badged version built better? I mean Buick is a semi-luxury brand. What are the most common issues with the 2013-2017 Regal, and what can I expect once this car makes it 100,000 miles?  Also... is it realistic to expect to drive this car 200,000 + miles with some TLC?  Any input is welcome.  Also if it helps, the Vehicle's VIN is: 2G4GK5EX2G9170559

It depends, the quality is quite inconsistent. but for most they aren't really reliable.

I'd consider it "good enough" (if they have a mechanic who knows how to work on it)

Usually no, especially the newer Opel based GMs are significantly worse.

Also Opel is now owned by Stellantis and is selling mostly PSA based cars, they're really not around anymore.

I wouldn't say so. I'd say that the expected service life of one of these (with good maintenance) is about 200,000 km (125,000 miles).

It might last more, might last less - but what you want is to replace engine oil frequently, monitor oil levels and replace the ATF from time to time (I'd say every 20k-30k miles).

Here's a very detailed tour of the Opel Insignia's issues, there are English subtitles.

Might as well cough up the projected $2,500 to fix my 2006 Honda Civic to keep it a little longer. Thank you for your input. I am content to wait given how insanely expensive Used Cars are right now, which is why I was almost ready to jump at the Regal. However, seems like people are avoiding the Regal not just because Buick is considered a "boring" brand.

You can expect it to start falling apart in very expensive ways around the 100,000 mile mark.

GM doesn't really have any better built brands.

Cadillac is supposed to be their flagship premium brand and it's still riddled with problems.
