Hi I have 2016 bmw 320i with 60,000 km and automatic transmission. Vehicle has never left the vancouver seatle area on the west coast not rusty at all. Overall the car is very clean minor paint scuffs, no major accidents. However three years ago my wife drove the rear tires over tire spikes on the canadian border by accident and had only the rear tires replaced. After I told her she should have had all four replaced since it is an awd vehicle. My main cause for concern is now the transmission slips a little and especially under heavy load. What I want your help with is should I sell the car in two or three years or keep it. The two original tires and the two new ones are still on the car. I am leaning towards selling it more and cutting my loss because I know these car's are endless money pits as they age ( I regret not buying a lexus) thanks for looking appreciate the help!

Current used car prices are very high, interest rates very low. I would sell if I would be happy/sleep better with something else.

Sell. The endless money pit stories are true.

I spent more money maintaining my 2007 X5, from 2016-2020 than 21 years of my 1999 Honda Accord.

BMWs are amazing and relatively reliable cars, just cost an arm, leg, torso to maintain.
