You have a lot of positive things to say about Toyotas and Hondas for the person looking for a reliable, good gas mileage daily driver used car. I don't recall anything recently on your thoughts as to how a similar model range Kia might stack up with those two?
Thanks

Simply because they don't.
Get the Toyota,
Since around 2015 Toyota became obviously better than the competition.
Honda is for the N.A market is significantly better than Kia.
There's a thread on this forum about Hyundai-Kia (HMG) quality:

Most of their cars are really low quality, they pretty much to not sell good cars on the North American market.
To buy a Kia and not be very disappointed you really have to know what you're doing and what to expect -
So for most people it's a pass.
I would buy a riding lawn mower before I bought anything made by KIA.
