Was hoping to get some ideas on what a 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition with only 2000 miles which has been pretty much garaged all the time except for driving on weekends only when sunny and in completely new condition is worth in this market?
Adding to it I have checked the car's price via different websites but I know they are going for more than their actual price so yeah was wondering what it would be worth paying for it in this market.
It is only worth what someone is willing and able to pay for it.
This is true. Book values are guides, not rules.
Totally agree with both of you here which is why I wasn't considering the book value being what this car is worth at least in these conditions.
Check the value of it in your market on cargurus.com. Their values account for market conditions.
Here in Houston, private party is around $45k.
Wow! A car that cost $30k, 8 years ago.
Yup. Pretty wild.
I can’t tell you the exact value, but what I can tell you is you own a unicorn. 2014 was the last model year and the Trail Teams Edition (limited to 2,500 vehicles) was supposed to be the “toughest and most capable” FJ ever. That combined with the fact it is low mileage and in (what I presume is) excellent condition along with off-road vehicles being popular (especially FJs), you can probably get >$50,000 for it. For the heck of it, take a look at CarsandBids.com (an enthusiast car auction site) to see what previous FJs went for - especially that one (assuming they had one for bid).
Even before 2021, and I am talking many years before, the FJs were holding their value at 90% of MSRP.
Here is a 2014 FJ Cruiser with just 400 miles (!) sold on carsandbids.com for $50,251. It is not even the Trails Team Edition.

Oh wow! Thanks for the link. Based on this I'm assuming I can expect about $60k for it or would this be too unrealistic of an expectation?
Considering market conditions, the mileage, and the cars condition, and the popularity of the car, I’d say it is worth at least, or more than what the original owner paid for the car.
Take it to Carmax and see what they offer for it. Compare that to other valuation amounts you have seen.
