Hello Scotty,
I have been watching your videos for a while now & have learned quite a lot from them. I have never had a specific topic or question before. Currently I am in the market for a F-150. I have watched your videos about them & remember one where you said to stay with the 2010 or older models because of computer issues with models that are newer. I am looking at them here in Metro Detroit where I live. I am looking to spend around $10,000 (maybe less if I can find a really good deal). I did want to get a little bit of advice on things to look for so I do not make a costly mistake. How many miles would be considered too high? Which engine is a better choice, the 8 Cyl 4.6 L or the 8 Cyl 5.4 L? Also is a Rebuilt Title a bad thing all together or is it a case by case thing?
Thank You & Best Regards
Matthew Nowicki

Never buy a vehicle with a rebuilt title - just not worth the potential headaches down the road:

See here for which F-150s to avoid: also avoid the 10-speed AT from 2018+ MY

Sweet spot seems to be 2011-2014 with the 5.0L V8.
Sweet spot seems to be 2011-2014 with the 5.0L V8. Those would be the years and engine I would try and get.
Thank you very much for your advice. It has been very helpful. 😉👍🏼
Thank you very much got your advice. 😉👍🏼
Avoid the 5.4 V8, they are bad engines. 4.6 is alright, but the next generation 2011-2014 5.0 is your best bet.
Salvage/rebuilt title cars should be avoided. You can find more information on salvage/rebuilt titles in the Used Car Buying Guide linked below.
