Scotty, Help! My vehicles electrical systems are allergic to us. We have have had great vehicles—currently one ‘08 Chevy Avalanche LTZ 5.3 V8 w/190,000 miles (2nd owner after my Dad) and a ‘11 Toyota Sienna V6 AWD with 160,000 miles (2nd Owner). I keep up with ALL their scheduled maintenance and they are both phenomenal vehicles.
The one thing both seem to have in common are electrical in nature—by coincidence I’m sure. Both have had their battery’s and alternators either checked or replaced.
Specifically:
My ‘11 V6 Sienna has a parasitic drain. The alternator and battery were just replaced (and I checked the manufacture date on the new battery I put in to make sure it’s not old). There is still a drain on power. The mechanic who worked on it was stumped but ended up pulling a fuse or relay related to the cabin lighting as a shot in the dark (pun intended bc my wife REALLY hates not having no cabin lighting). It still has draining power with nothing plugged in inside either.
My ‘08 Avalanche also has had weird electrical issues but most pertinent is that it seems to be sending so much power to my small trailer in tow that it completely burns out the trailer wiring that I will again have to replace for the 3rd time once I figure out what is causing the power surge. Aside from that it old, man. Leaks oil from the pan but just love the truck.
I’ve learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much for doing what you do!

Per forum rules, you really should put each question in a separate post so each can be given individual attention.

For the parasitic drain problem see the following:

For the power drain on the trailer hitch wiring, it's less a matter of how much power the car is sending and more about how much power is being drawn through that wiring by the trailer.
Thank you.
Sorry abt that, I just missed that part abt the multiples Q’s.
