Scotty is walmart's brand of synthetic oil like 5w-30 as good as mobile one synthetic oil? I'm running a 93 Chevy 350 that has had only mobile one synthetic and she uses and burns very little oil at all even after a long haul RV trailer cross country several 100s of Miles. Only used a quart and a half in over a year that's due to a small leak on the valve cover I just discovered. Wise to change brands that the woman bought or stick with brand name oil so I can give her a good argument why not to switch it out now when money's so tight?
There's nothing wrong with it. Most WalMart SuperTech oil is made by Warren Distribution which is one of the US's largest independent producers of lubricants. (In some areas certain grades of SuperTech may be made by major well-known oil companies.)
As long as it meets your vehicle's specifications it's fine. However, I frequently find at WalMart that the leading brands can be close in price to the house brand. For example, on walmart.com SuperTech synthetic 0W20 is currently at $21.48 for a 5-quart jug. Mobil 1 is $24.47 and Valvoline is $29.97.

As long as the oil is the correct weight and satisfies the manufacturers requirements for grade, I don't care what name it has on it. If you feel compelled to spend extra money just because it says Mobile 1 on the container, it's your money.
Costco, Walmart, Amazon, all use Warren Oil as their supplier.
