I took 2008 Ram to shop. I have some rattling. Though it might be brake pad clips. Instead, shop returned with $1000+ estimate claiming that all four brake rotors are warped. This despite no vibration while driving or braking. It might be so, but doesn't seem plausible.

I'd go to a different shop.

You don't feel any vibration in the steering wheel or in the brake pedal? Then they're trying to rip you off!
As @chucktobias said, get that Ram away from them, ASAP.
