My 04 Acura TL has a small powersteering rack leak and I put AT-205 stop leak in the reservoir per your suggestion.
I changed the ATF fluid this past weekend and while I was under the car the cleaned up portion of the powersteering rack still looked clean. Looked like the AT205 was working.
Well today the steering started making noise and became hard to turn the wheel. I checked the reservoir and sure enough it was low but when looking for the leak I could not find any. I filled it upand started the car and turned the wheel back and forth until the powersteering stopped making noises. Now the wheel turns like normal and no leak can be found around the pump but I could smell ps fluid in the cabin so that tells me it leaked in the engine compartment.
My question is, can the ps fluid/pump leak internally into the engine causing it to lose fluid but not show any visible leak outside? I’m scratching my head with this. I’ll check the parking spot at work where I parked to see if there is fluid on the ground tomorrow.
Any thoughts will be appreciated Scotty! Thx!
Power steering is isolated from the engine, there's no path for PS fluid to get inside the engine. I'd check to see if you have 20-year-old hoses leaking.

@chucktobias sorry for this late reply but I figured out where the disappeared fluid went. Into the driver side floor and leaked through the steering column. I believe a seal leaked but I filled up the reservoir with some stop leak from Gumout and it hasn’t leaked since steering been ok for a few months now. Just had to clean the carpet of all the ps fluid which was fun let me tell you! Thx again.
