Hi Scotty, I'm stumped and I could use your help. I lost my dad to Covid 2 years ago and am finally getting around to his "06" Mitsubishi Eclipse GT w/ the 3.8L 6G75 and 6spd manual. It had a blown head gasket but did run when we got it. 2 years later I pulled it apart, had the heads completely done and new lifters. I replaced the timing belt, water pump, and components (Properly timed and rechecked after several rotations), The crank and cam pos sensors are new and I ran some jumper cables as extra grounds just to be sure. Battery is new and charged. I have fuel to the rails and noid lights show I have injector pulse, I also have constant 12v to the coil packs and all wiring and grounds are hooked up as far as I can tell. I had the key checked today and it's good, check engine light comes on with the key and I swapped/replaced all relays and triple checked all the fuses both under the hood and under the dash. I unplugged and re plugged in the ECU in case of terminal corrosion. My thoughts are part of the ECU conked out while it was sitting or a wire broke from moving them around during the rebuild. Codes were checked after attempting to start and had 2 under ABS. U1120 (Can bus) and C1200 (FR wheel speed sensor) which I replaced. I would greatly appreciate any help, Thanks in advance.
Yeah you can easily a fry the ECU. Would you have to do is get a wiring diagram and see where the ignition power comes out of the ECU and if there's nothing coming out it's right
