Honda Pilot 2003 compression issues

Scotty, I have a 2003 Honda Pilot EX with 286,000 miles and I have a code P303. It’s compression is 75lbs which is lower than the rest. What should I do? Should I get a valve job or what? Should I scrap it? If I do, how should I go about doing that.
To clarify, it starts right up 90% of the time. But there is that 10% where it doesn’t. It’s not running rough currently, but it was before I replaced spark plugs and ignition coils. I had a professional do the compression test and clean out some things which cleared a couple of other cylinders that were having problems. But cylinder 3 will not go away and has much lower compression than the rest.

I replaced so much over the years. It’s sad to see it go. Need your help and wisdom.

someone and anyone, I need the advice. This was the family car for us and my kids need a safe car. Thanks!

If you’re attached to the vehicle, and if the transmission is still in good shape, try shopping around for a used/reman engine.

Otherwise, yeah, it’s time for an another vehicle (preferred option).
