To preface my question I will state that I am a ride share driver.  I keep up with maintenance on the car as far as oil changes are concerned. My issue is this: I have a very specific issue when going down the highway anywhere from 60 to 70 mph. What will happen is and this happens more often when I'm using cruise control - sometimes the car acts like it's compensating to get back up to the set speed and it kind of jerks the car forward a little bit and it usually happens in threes.  I have changed the spark plugs and I also changed the serpentine belt which is something that complemented this problem because it would squeal and when it did that at the same time it just made an awful noise. So now that I've got most of this figured out, I'm just trying to figure out the little jerking forward problem.  I have a CVT transmission and it's fluid has been recently changed and they found no mechanical failures and no metal shavings when they drain the CVT fluid so I'm not really sure what the issue is.  I appreciate your time and your videos. Thank you.

Have you scanned for codes, and/or recorded live data for analysis when the problem occurs?

It may well be your CVT belt slipping. The Jatco CVTs used by Mitsubishi are pretty awful and at 111K miles it could be at the end of its service life, even if there are no obvious signs of failure in the drained fluid. (In general the Mirage is a very light-duty vehicle.) A professional-grade scan tool would be required to diagnose transmission problems.

Mitsubishi's are crap. Brings me back painful memories because my first car was a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer and it was a Junk. Always something breaks down right after you fix something. The 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage was like $14,000 MSRP. So imagine how much was the actual cost to make the car? Maybe like $5,000? On top of that they use Crappy CVT Transmission ( Jatco ) That Nissan uses. Nissan, Mitsubishi and Renault are all same companies. I would just drive that stupid car and see how far it will go cause you would hardly get anything for it if you trade it in or sell it. Hopefully you learned your lesson like I did and get a Toyota. Our 06 Toyota Camry has 375,000 miles and is still going strong.
