Two years ago I purchased a 2011 Ford Fusion. The car has about 15000 miles on it. It had three recalls. Ford would not honor the recalls for the EPA and throttle as it is 10 years or 150 k miles. I had the air bags replaced under recall only about two months ago as they first did only passenger side and then drivers side two months ago. I now have the EPA light go on when I put the key in the ignition. When I remove the key and reinsert it the light goes off. It doesn't do this all the time but randomly. I tried to get extension on recall but Ford refuses to do that. Scotty any ideas and your advice would be appreciated. It is over 2k to replace the EPA and Ford wants 200 to diagnose the car.
I don't think I've never seen an EPA light. What does it look like?
Did you try running diagnostics on it?
Are you sure you don't mean an EPC light?
