What car to buy, recalls?

I watched you on YouTube say Toyota is recalling a lot of cars because of the engine. It seems like Toyota is having quite a lot of issues. I have a 2002 Camry SE 6 cylinder that I bought new. Only started having issues lately but it was run into twice so that might be why.

I think I’d like to get at newer car but what make, model and year?

Toyota, Honda?

It seems like they both have issues. I’m not a mechanic and want a nice reliable car that will last a long time.

I ask my mechanic if he would check out a car before I buy one yes. What do you do?

Just start it, roll the windows up and down. Check for oil leaks and see if it drives ok.

***I ask if he put it on a computer and he said, “A computer can’t tell you what is wrong with a car.”

Help!

I am very thankful for all of your videos. I have learned so much. Thank you!

Also, for car inspection see below:  you’d want an independent, honest mechanic to check it out including with his fancy scan tool (the scan tool can tell you a lot about the condition of the vehicle if you know what to look for and how to read the parameters), but anyhow it’s good for you to still be aware of things to look for
