so I was out with a buddy and my car died at a stoplight, but fortunately, I was able to move my car off to the side. I can jumpstart it and it'll stay of for a little bit until I needed to do it again. but my friend came over with his car, I couldn't see because it was dark so I crossed the positive and negative. it sparked until it stopped. we left it on and realized that it was swapped. towed it back home and swapped a blown 100a fuse and now it sounds like it wants to start. but it starts for half a second before it dies again. I charged the battery and changed a different alternator. not sure if the alternator is good but its better than the one I had. I'm not sure what to do because its the only car I have and it was owned by my grandfather for a while.

Can you run the car with starter fluid?

i was told that but the spark plugs are deep under all the engine parts so we tried. and is good luck as in good luck or good luck, its screwed?

I don’t understand what you are saying. You are supposed to spray the fluid into the air intake.

haha. he sprayed it all over my engine but thanks for the advice. ill try that soon.
