What does "main head seeping" mean?

2016 Honda Accord EX-L, 73000 miles, automatic

I'm shopping around for a used car and was interested in this Honda.  The carfax shows regular maintenance every 6,000 miles at a nearby Honda dealership (I confirmed this with the dealership); the transmission fluid was changed at 32,000 and 52,000 miles as well.  I've never seen that on any carfax so far.

I test drove the car and it drove fine. The salesman showed me the inspection done at their dealership and it said "main head seeping".  He said it's not leaking, just seeping.  What exactly does this mean?  And is it something that will be a major problem in the future?

Thank you for your advice.

Not much. It means the person saying it doesn't really know what they're talking about, but more likely they're covering a big problem, and that you should probably keep looking.

It means you should run away from that deal.

That is what I thought. Thank you

I’m trying to understand what he is saying. Regardless runaway.

“Main head” to my knowledge, isn’t a car term.

There is the “cylinder block”, the “cylinder head”, the “valve cover”, the “oil pan”, and the “rear main seal”. But no “main head.”

So he could be referring to any of the five things I mentioned.

My guess would be it is the “rear main seal”, because that is an expensive fix. But I really don’t know. Regardless, don’t buy a car with that kind of problem.

I put a call into the Honda dealership that has been doing the maintenance on this Honda from the time it was first sold; the most recent maintenance was done on 10-10-23. The car was just listed for sale last week. Guess it doesn't matter now. Mahalo for your time.

"main head seeping"

That guy's either mixing up terms because he's not a mechanic, or he's genuinely shady used car salesman acting like he knows about cars. Run away.

It's been my experience that, with few exceptions, most car sales droids know nothing at all about cars. They might as well be selling ladies' shoes.

Basically. I've heard prospective used car salesmen involve trying to sell a pen to the interviewer. They don't know crap about how they work. Lol
