What is causing my car to accelerate and making my heat stop working??

I have a 2005 Chrysler 300. This is the chain of events with my car lately… first I crank and it started cutting right back off.. wouldn’t stay crunk or stay turned over. Once it did finally crank it would accelerate up to about 3rpm. I would drive and it would accelerate while driving and I would jerk or it would sound like it is about to cut off. Then it stopped and my heat stopped working… replaced the entire hvac controls and my heat came back on then my car started accelerating all weird again… now my heat has went out again.. and I unplugged the hvac to see if it had come loose but when I plugged it back in I had the same jerking/accelerating or wouldn’t stay crunk issues. I have taken it to 3 shops with no luck. Please any ideas on what to check… someone said it may be electrical but I’m out of options on who to turn to.

Now you know why I tell people not to buy Chrysler if they fall apart electronically as they age. But if you're near Rhode Island I'm going to be there the next 3 months I check them out for free. Realize there's basically hundreds of things that can do that that you could start by changing the fuel filter pressure testing the fuel pump and praying something simple like that and not a computer or are wiring failure
