What is the best car to buy? My mom has been screwed by GM twice and fails to admit it. Such as her 2012 Chevrolet Equinox had its engine blow up at 50,000 miles for no reason. Then she bought a Chevy Malibu and has nothing but problems and agian fails to admit it is all GM’s fault due to lack of quality.-Thank You

Honda/Acura/Toyota/Lexus make reliable cars. The "best" car is pretty subjective.

Compared to GM almost anything made in Japan is going to look like the greatest thing since sliced bread.
