So my dad is looking to get a new truck or suv and he has a truck in mind but I found him a nice suv that will be in price range in everything he's looking for in a suv so what do you think would be better buy in today's economy a 2017 Lexus RX, or a 2014 Ford F-150 eco boost extended cab? Thanks
I think the Lexus is a better vehicle, especially if it's not turbocharged. But if he needs the truck for towing or hauling the Lexus probably won't cut it. I would advise against the Eco Boost engines and I'm a Ford guy.

They are two different vehicles. Decide what you need first. With that being said, if you end up buying a Ford truck, consider V8 (with the exception of three valve ones) not the Ecoboost engine.
