Hey Scotty what year did gm made Chevy cars and SUVs go cheaper and worse in the long wrong.

it's been a gradual decline for a long time, but I think the 80's recession was a major turning point, and then the 2008 economic meltdown of course.

The last good factory cars were in the late 70's to early '80's. And I own a late 90's GM. But I've basically restored it as it had fallen apart with only 84k original miles on it.
If they could make today what they made back then, I believe they would be better off. I mean the old Malibu's were sweet. Look at them now. Sad.
