Hey Scotty, Love your channel, love your ethic.

We have 4 kids, we are looking for a replacement 7/8 seater, thinking of another volvo xc90,  or a Toyota Alphard. Or a Toyota Landcruiser, we dont go off road, life in the UK, but we do get snow and ice, and we like a chelsea tractor, if we get a Landcruiser it is likely to be 15 years old, and have around 140 - 160k miles on it, Alphard will be an import with the 2.4 or 3.0 petrol engine, still old, 2004 - 2007 with under 100K miles on. Which would you go for. Thanks Scotty. I do my own maintenance, have built a couple of cars, and motorcycles. Not a mechanic but was a mechanic in the Royal Navy. Thanks All.

@klob
Not sure that model is available in the United Kingdom, thanks for the suggestion though. I wonder if this is like a delica?

They are great cars...

Good luck and take care of your family.

If you get the hellfire or alphard.

Get the seat in rear that feel like a lazy chair 🙂

Seen some from japan that have deck our led like a disco.

Only compliant I have heard they are bulky to park.

Depends on how much money you want to spend.

If you are ok with the high fuel consumption, get a Lexus GX 470 or Toyota Sequoia.

I'm not familiar with Toyota Alphard.

@yaser
Not sure either of those models are available in the UK, I will looking at spending around 6 thousand pounds, about 7700 dollars, fuel consumption would be a consideration as fuel in the UK is a lot more pricy thank in the USA. Alphard is an Import from Japan, with the 2.4 petrol engine or the 3.0 V6 petrol engine.

@shanco73:

If that's the case, go for the 4 cylinder van (2.4 liter). I'm not familiar with that particular van since we do not have them in us. Just check out to see it does not have any particular common problem, e.g. oil burning.
