Old BMW M5 lover, want a Lexus GS. I want the V8 power (400hp). Buy the V8 or mod the GS350 V6 ? Stoplight assassin and canyon carver 3% of the time. mid-50s, reliability and practicality major concerns. Thanks
I bought my 18 GS F-Sport RWD new and love it. I plan to drive it till I die. It's the best car I've ever owned. With the proper PM's it will last for years. I highly recommend you buy one.
I have been looking at a GS for the past few months and for me as young as I am I would get the v6 just more reliable from what I heard. But if you what the better drag racer/canyon carver go for the V8. If you will mod the v6 I would just go V8 especially coming from an M5. Once you modify the v6 you really don’t know what the reliability will be like. Like they say there is no replacement for displacement! Out of curiosity, what year is your M5 and how reliable is it?
