Whirring and whining from a Subaru Forester XT 2002 Auto 125000 KM

Hey Scotty, Thanks for all your videos hope you can explain this one.

I have a Subaru Forester XT Auto 2002 with 125000km and it produces a whining noise at 10-20kmph the car just needs to be cursing at that speed to hear it you don't need to have your foot on the gas, and then a whirring noise at around 50-60kmph you need to have you foot on the gas for it to happen either cursing at one speed or accelerating, you can also feel a high frequency vibration through the whole car especially through the transmission shifter and the dead pedal, I tested it in both 3rd and 4th gear and it happens in both. I took it to my mechanic and he said that the rear wheel bearings are wearing out, what i don't understand is why it happens at those speeds and why my foot has be on the pedal for it to happen, 90% of my driving is at 50-60kmph.

Well it makes sense if he says it's that as long as he knows what he's doing. But when somebody brings me a car like that I do my video finding the source of car noises Scotty and that machine will always show exactly where the noise is coming from
