wheel hub motor ( replaces rims) would make the swap easy. Can leave IC motor in place if wanted

Trucks have plenty of space for batteries.

Not many people are interested in giving up the convenience and low overall cost of gasoline power for the hassles, expense, and short lifespan of running on batteries.

Not that easy. Hub motors need lots of cooling.

There are conversion kits out there, but they cost as much as a used car. It would never pay off.

A conversion kit doesn’t have mass appeal. Hence, while there are a few out there, it’s not enough to make it price competitive.
