2021 Mustang GT, automatic with 850 miles and I have not scanned for codes. Hi Scotty, my new 2021 Mustang GT smells every now and again like rotten eggs. My gas mileage is around 15 miles to the gallon city and I have not done any freeway driving yet. I can smell gas sometimes to but I don't know if that is common for the GT. Does the car just need to get hot? My drive to work is only a mile so is not driving for a long time the issue?

You may smell some coatings on new parts when they get hot. I would drive it on highway to burn them off. You can also check the battery to make sure it is in a good shape and does not have leak but it is unlikely.
