Hi,
I have a Toyota Avensis from 2017 and I would like to ask if someone could provide me with the wire diagram for the TPMS module so I can disable the warning light.
If you need I can provide photos with the module.
Thanks,
Victor
Just to be clear, you are looking for a wiring diagram so you can clear the light on your dash because you don't want to replace a tpms sensor and hate seeing the light there. Also assuming that you don't want to use just a piece of black tape.
I would first like to heavily advise against messing with the module less you just happen to be an electrical expert. This isn't a 2007 4runner that you can just splice 2 wires and be good to go. You could very well get some unwanted dtc's or worse if it is attempted.
That being said, Best way I have found so far is just to get someone to help you code out the modules. Or go on ebay and get like a $40 tpms module of your car to crack open to find a way to bypass it first... But again it's a risk compared to a piece of black tape.
That light has been shining on my 4 years old Auris for quite some time. And I don't care.
Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately I can't use a black tape. I live in the UK and if the TPMS sensors don't work, they will fail my car for the annual technical inspection.
I don't want to spend money on this system. I can check myself the tyre pressure.
That's why I want to get rid off the light.
I was thinking that maybe someone has access to alldata website and could help me out with a wire diagram.
if the TPMS sensors don't work, they will fail my car
then I guess you have to replace the sensors
