Help identify losing oil on dodge Ram

Hi Scotty and others, I own a 2005 Dodge ram 1500 3.7l manual transmission with 156,000 miles. I’ve owned the vehicle since 2005 and for the past 3 years it has been losing oil, around 2-3 quarts every 2-3k miles or so. I see no leaks or smoke nor burn smell. I replaced the pcv valve 3 years ago then I started losing oil. I’m thinking maybe it’s a faulty pcv valve but if it’s not is there any other options?

Most likely faulty pcv/installation. If not you can easily check if you got blowby by taking the dipstick out while engine is running and with your finger or piece of paper or something see if you got a little pressure or oil coming out. Should hear/feel/see it. Also check if it is your plenum gasket. Seems to be a common issue on the ram forums.

Pull the sparkplugs & look at them. My old sled burns oil, but it doesnt really smoke at all
