Hi everybody. i have a automatic 2015 mini countryman S with about 65k miles. I bought the car with around 44k miles on it, to my knowledge the transmission fluid has never been touched in the car, is it still an okay time to drain & put in fresh fluid so i can start doing it on a regular basis every 35k ish miles?

See answer in FAQ: https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/atf/
65k isn't even that overdue, replace more frequently than 35k later, about 25-30.
Note that these have an issue with overheating and coolant ruining friction packs due to the heat exchanger.
Monitor ATF temp from time to time.

Mini Motorwerks (dealer in MN) service shows 50k for the interval. You're not too far off from that.
