  • 1998 isuzu rodeo v6 manual trans .I watched your video about fixing a leaky head gasket. Because isuzu wanted to design a disposable vehicle, the did stuff like put the thermostat under the intake manifold. So removing it is not the simple task that it should be. Will the stop leak stuff still work or am i SOL?

If you're just trying to get a little more life out that vehicle before replacing it you can give a sealer product a try, might work for a while if you're lucky. Just be aware that those products can also plug up heater cores and radiators.

On the other hand if you're planning to keep the Isuzu as long as possible the leaking head gasket needs to be replaced before engine damage occurs due to coolant getting into the oil.

Like Joe said, he retired from fortune telling.  There is no magic potion that is going to fix this.  You need a new head gasket and a rebuilt head, period.
