How do I insulate an evaporator

Hello. I have a 08 Ford e350 with dual ac. It was leaking from the front evaporator so I swapped it out with an oem one. After the 10 hour job, the front wasn’t cooling but the back was. I was told its because air is escaping by the front evaporator case. I was suppose to use an insulation tape that’s for AC. I took an AC class so I have an idea about theories but this tape thing is new to me. I have to re do it again but can someone please tell me more about this tape. What videos are there about wrapping the case. Where can I buy it. And any other detail that will help. Thank you

The tape is there only to stop dripping condensation. It is nothing to do with the AC not blowing cold. If it doesn't blow cold at all, something is wrong. Neither sold you bad evaporator or something. Clogged it up when you put it on like a fitting isn't on correctly in his bent or something
