| I have Toyota Land Cruiser 2009 V8 AT. It do a blue smoke during first 5 to 10 minutes of initial startup when its cold. To me it look like oil burning, there is no noise in engine, smoke stops after 5 to 10 minutes. What could be the possible reasons ? | |||||

| Hi! Scotty love watching your videos on you tube! I have a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado i noticed the blue high beam indicator light comes on when the truck is just setting there locked up with nothing on? First noticed it one night when i walked by it and seen the light flashing then every sense when i lock it up about 15/20 seconds later the high beam indicator light comes on nobody seems to know why this happens. any advice? | So. I did an oil change and added a quart of Lucas oil stop leak and after a week the blue smoke is gone. I guess from now on, I will add half a quart when I change the oil. FYI | |||||

| blue smoke just means your engine is wearing out and to fix it you'd have to rebuild the engine.. but you can still drive it just take care of her and you can still get several years out of the car when it's doing that. | |||||

| Hey Scotty. I have a 2004 Toyota Camry with the 2.4l engine. Sometimes on cold start it blows blue smoke. Then white smoke. Doesn’t burn a lot of oil on dipstick though when I check it. Should I be concerned about the piston rings? It has 153,000 miles. Runs great. I recently drove it about 1800 miles non stop with zero issues. | 1999 chevy silverado 6.0l 2500 ls 4x4 pickup hello . hope all is good . the above mentioned vehicle driver window wont role up . i found a bad drk grn wire and replaced it . it didnt work , in fact now when i back probe master switch and brown or blue wire(those go to the motor from master switch ) it sparks amd didnt before . also now when i engage the switch to go down it clicks and a few second later it clicks again . but pushing up, it s quiet .the spark i refered to is prolly a short to ground ? adn for [expletive deleted] and gigles i pulled the entre ... | |||||

| ... can live with that. I'm writing because sometimes when accelerating from a stop I hear a faint to moderate whine from the front end. I've changed the oil and filter, had a front end alignment and new tires put on. Battery, and Alternator checked out as perfect at Auto Zone. Hooked it up to my blue driver scan tool and there are no codes and live data reads as okay. Any idea what the issue might be? | I have a 2007 Pontiac G5 GT 2.4 L Ecotec 132,200 miles. Had since new been a pretty reliable trouble free car up till now. Out of the blue with no warning instantly started missing very bad check engine light instantly came on then started flashing. Luckily only about a mile from home.
