| It’s a decent temporary fix but really consider getting the gaskets replaced they’re relatively easy and cheap to do depending on the car | |||||

| ... mentioned), and bypassing the heater core so that won't get plugged up. Scotty in his videos has been recommending the Bars Leak head gasket sealer ("Head Gasket Fix" in the silver bottle). I don't know how it compares with Blue Devil. As far as the throttle body, if lucky maybe that will work well enough if the hose with the pinhole leak is replaced. | |||||

| ... A mechanic told me to try Blue Devil and I bought it (requires thermostat removal, not pour and go.) Haven't used it yet. Need suggestions on what to do. Basically, 2017 Hyundai Elantra had engine replaced. There's a pinhole leak in the throttle body coolant line that goes to the engine, causing it to overheat. Head gasket blew. The coolant is orange from mixing with oil, though the oil is clean, so best guess is there's oil in the coolant, not coolant in oil from what I can tell. I was recommended a shop by a friend who owns a dealership where he gets ... | |||||

| Bought a 2002 Camry 4cyl, 94k miles. Has a head gasket leak. My mechanic or one of his guys did the Blue Devil Head Gasket Treatment #38386. It didn't take, may have been done wrong. Antifreeze leak back of engine by intake manifold and bubbles never fully stop when purging the cooling system. 1or2 bubbles every 20 seconds. Eventually the overflow fills up. I plan on doing an (over kill) re-application to poss. avoid the $1500 or more for a head gasket and poss. stripped head bolts job. I plan on running the car with straight water and Blue Devil Flush for a ... | |||||

| The problem with many sealers are that they will clog up a heater core and it may need replacing now but if you Jack the front of the vehicle three or four feet higher than the back then the air will come out of the radiator by opening it when it's cool starting the vehicle and let it warm up | |||||

| I used this 4-5 years ago in my 2008 chevy impala with a 3.5 ltr engine. 115,000 miles later I am still driving it down the road everyday. I noticed the coolant is starting to slush around a bit in the heater core, any thoughts on this product and what I can do to get rid of the excess air? | |||||

| ... pain/body is still in very good shape. It has a pretty bad oil leak coming from the rear main seal according to my mechanic though. He didn't recommend I fix it because it would cost about close to what it's worth to fix the leak lol. He just said keep checking it and don't let it get low. I've figured out it's leaking about a quart every 500 miles. It's definitely not burning oil, but it leaves little baby puddles everywhere I go! I tried that Blue Devil stuff already without any luck. Is there a better product out there? Should I try another bottle of ... | |||||

| @Trail Benders Overland I have a Blue Devil update. I brought my car to Cloverdale Express Oil & Car Repair cloverdalexpress.com in Cloverdale California. The owner is Jennifer and wow was she knowledgeable and thorough. She and her mechanic Isreal first did a pressure test that showed good compression. They recognized the misfiring as a possible coil issue but found out it wasn't that by running a test on it. Then they used a mini-camera in cylinder 1 that showed her there was a tiny leak from the head gasket into the top of the piston causing the ... | |||||
