| So I have a 2013 chevy express 2500 van that is my daily driver and it has 97k miles I am the 2nd owner and have only put 30k miles in 5+ years and service the van regularly.. I live in tx and it gets hot here. My AC one day would not blow threw the front vents only threw the dash which was not enough to keep it cool. So I took it to the dealership to have it repaired and all told they ended up charging me just shy of 2000 dollars and they said mice or something had gotten inside and eaten a few of the lines. So i went and picked up my van and when I turned ... | |||||

| Hi Scotty! I have a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country with 165,431 miles, auto trans, and 3.3L flex fuel engine. I've never used Flex fuel. Everything with the vehicle was fine until early September, 2020. At that time my daughter began to use the van as a storage shed for her car parts as she made modifications on her Subaru WRX in the driveway next to the van. As such, she left the side doors open and the dome light ran the battery down. At the end of September, the vehicle's annual Texas safety inspection was due so when I attempted to go to the shop the v ... | |||||
| RWD or FWD Cargo Van Winter Inclement Weather Uphill Performance | 32Relevance | 2 years ago | tristansolaris | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| My question is regarding the non-extended, mid to high roof cargo vans' RWD or FWD winter performance. There are videos comparing RWD, FWD, AWD and 4x4, but they are focused on non-van models. I don't have any prior experience with AWD or 4x4 and they are currently outside my budget. I am looking to convert a cargo van with the aforementioned specs into a mobile photography/filmmaking studio. I realize non trail variants of Ford Transit and Ram Promaster are not built for extreme off-roading and overlanding. I am not trying to do anything extreme but a ... | |||||

| HI Scotty, my son has a 2002 E-150 van. Automatic trans. It had 84,000 miles on the odometer. He took it to a mechanic before purchasing it. He was told it would need new fluids, a new battery cable, wiper blades, a brake fluid flush, trans fluid service, oil change, replace oil pan gasket, replace transmission output seal, four wheel alignment, clean and adjust rear brakes, and would need to have the rear differential service performed. The van was not leaking any fluids. The trans seal was never replaced and has not given him any problems. The van ran wel ... | |||||

| I'm going to need a handicap van for myself. I have LGMD-2A muscular dystrophy, currently able to drive normal automotive vehicles with the use of any devices. I will be eventually needing to use a wheelchair as my disease progresses. What brand or model van would you suggest for reliability? I'd prefer to buy a used van, Ideally have a sliding door on driver's side to have access to a electric wheelchair. Larry | |||||

| Hello Scotty, I would like to bring this issue to your attention and hope you can help get the information out. I have a 2022 Promaster 2500 159" High Roof van, which I purchased new at the beginning of last year. I bought it along with the extended warranty and the key pass (key replacement insurance). I am a small independent contractor and use my van for hauling commercially 5 days a week. In June 2022 I lost my key/fob and went to the dealer for a replacement. They informed me that to get a new key/fob it would have to be laser cut at t ... | |||||

| Say Audioman How is the van search going?I was very interested to hear your story about the E /350 van. I am headed back to the past and have just purchased my first e series van. It is a 2003 in Tucson with 120 k miles. (gov auction) It has the 5.4 v/8 which Scotty has said to stay away from. I have to pick it up in a few weeks and want to drive it back to MA. I am apprehensive now because there was a “van would not start” line in the inspection report! Hopefully the battery was dead but I won’t know until I go to pick it up. Any encouraging words on my auc ... | |||||

| 2002 GMC Savanna 3500 Turbo Diesel van. AC works. Has an alarm. Alternator and belts just replaced couple of months ago. original miles is 200,000 however the engine has 60,000 miles. It was replaced when the van was 140,000 miles. The guy has the paperwork from the shop to prove it. Still isn’t 140,000 too early for a Diesel engine to need replacement? The rest of the van has 200,000 being sold for $8,000 so should I look away? | |||||
