| Forget about it! Scotty has spoken many times against those Ecoboost engines. At that mileage, it’s a ticking time bomb. | |||||

| Scotty's reviews are at the bottom of the main page. Ecoboom's are not known for reliability, and this is luxury vehicle, meaning lots of things to break which are very expensive to replace. In other words ... | |||||
| Answer to: Lincoln mks vs. Lexus LS460 | 16Relevance | 3 years ago | Whatchamacallit | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Neither because the Lexus LS, while clearly a better choice, but at that mileage and moving forward will cost an arm and a leg for repairs when (not if) they are needed. The V8 does not leave much room for working around the engine. For an example, changing the starter requires removing the intake manifold just to access; if you have to pay a mechanic to do that for you it can cost a lot. Also, running costs (like fuel, insurance) will be higher too. . I recommend a Lexus GS or ES with the V6, instead. | |||||

| Depends on the vehicle, and no American made hearses come from the factory as a hearse. See what the vehicle was prior to the conversion (Lincoln mks for example) and see if that particular year/car is reliable. I could see where one of those would be really useful for someone who needs to haul a lot of stuff. People might think you are weird, but hey who cares? As for the additional questions, i would go back to what exactly is the base model of the car? If that year model is dependable for daily driver, long distance, etc then yeah go for it. Also, ... | |||||

| ... luxury and long term reliability. All things being equal i.e. having a mechanic check it out which I will do myself. (I'm not a great mechanic but I am capable and learned a lot from you.) So I'd like some opinions. I know the Town Car's reputation for reliability and I know you are huge on Toyota's but something you said about the Lexus being expensive to fix in terms of electrical issues. Would I have the same problem with a Town Car with all the bells and whistles. During my research I've found a few other cars that piqued my interest. One being the Linc ... | |||||
| Answer to: Whats your opinion on a 2010 Lincoln MKS | 16Relevance | 4 years ago | USAFdozerpilot | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Lincoln’s aren’t made to be a forever vehicle. I am actually kind of amazed you have almost hit 200k mi. I’d try and sell it and get into something that is meant for longevity. I mean unless you love your luxury than trade up to an Acura or Lexus. | |||||

| Also look at 15:47 above, this is a prime example that Ford doesn't care about its customers. They do whatever they can to have LONG TERM problems after 80 90k miles so you can buy a new car. | |||||
