| LMAO its not the MAP, its my TPS. My car DOES NOT have a MAP sensor, it has the MAF and thats it. I looked at schematic after schematic and browsed a few Tiburon related web boards and this car model doesn't use one, it runs off MAF. Got confused because if you look at them from behind, they look very similar. | |||||

| I got a 2000 Tiburon, which is like the great grand father of what your looking at, and also a grand i10 2017, so, I'm my experience I can say that hyundais are great vehicles easy to work on, but, they turn into endless money pits real damm quick if you don't watch out, so, unless that car has got an amazing record of every job it has received or the price drops right in half, i'd say run away real fast If you want something like it, keep searching for one either cheaper or way lower mileage, under 100k is a must for me when getting a hyindai | |||||

| Thanks for the video. If I've followed along right, this is more of an intermittent misfire at lower rpms than a rough idle . Your Tiburon has a coil pack and the 2nd sentence of your original post is interesting, "The car a few weeks ago had Cylinder 2 and 3's spark plugs die on it......" . That's interesting because you have a "wasted spark" ignition coil pack, You have 2 coils for 4 cylinders and Cylinders #s 2 & 3 share a single coil. If that coil were intermittently shorting out (internally) it would cause that intermittent misfire and explain the p ... | |||||

| 2008 Tiburon GS with 172k Miles, Automatic Trans. Its throwing a fault code for P0448, which shouldn't be related, but who knows at this point. The car a few weeks ago had Cylinder 2 and 3's spark plugs die on it in my works parking lot. I went ahead and swapped all four of them out and replaced the wires. Before I did that, it was terrible. It drives now. However, a new issue popped up after the change that wasn't a thing before the change. The car starts a little rough, it misfires in park, stopped at a red light, or stop sign as well as acceleration if ... | |||||

| Since the quality is not high (and since my family owns a Kia) I can say you should be ready for cosmetic, interior, electrical, AC issues and some other models like the Tiburon Coupe have clutch, transmission, and engine problems as the most common issues. Also the fact that Hyundai itself claimed that their car could do a reliable 180k miles (300k km) is sad. Only 180k! Think about that for a second... | |||||

| Hey Scotty I bought a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon gt v6 in 2013 with 91,000 miles. It’s at 151,000 now. Should I get a transmission change or a flush? I’ve read blogs saying don’t do a transmission flush on high mileage cars. Please enlighten me sensei! 😁 | |||||

| There is no such a thing that you add to the engine and it adjusts the valves. If your engine is slugged up, you may use some cleaners but realize that the engine cleaners have harsh chemicals with can cause seals to leak for older engines. I have one question for you: Do you have any issues with the engine? | |||||

| ... when I know what the problem is. And FYI, I have an aftermarket supercharger from the Tiburon on my car, it's pushing double the power for about a year now. Transmission is doing fine considering its 15 years old and handling more than 350+ ft-lbs daily. I don't understand the flame Scotty puts on these cars. They're great cars. I beat the shit out of mine, but I actually maintain the damn thing. No one takes care of them, hence why they give you problems. | |||||
