| 2024Nissan Frontier 3.8 gdi v6 | 15Relevance | 1 year ago | Rookie 1969 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi Scotty. I recently purchased a new 2024 frontier. I have a question about the GDI engine. Do you recommend running any type of fuel additive to keep the injectors clean and the intake valves clean. I understand there can be a problem with carbon buildup due to the fuel being sprayed directly into the cylinder and bypassing the intake. I purchased this vehicle because of the fact that it is one of the few remaining pickup trucks that have a naturally aspirated engine. I do not want a turbo on a gasoline engine. Thank you for your time. | |||||

| They are very different things.. The frontier is a mid-size and the Tundra is a full-size. They have different purporses, sizes, fuel economy, and price. So it really depends on your use case and what you exepect to get out of the truck! | |||||

| Hello, Scotty! New to your forum however I have been your fan and watched your YouTube channel. I am in a dilemma to buy and choose a pick up truck for me, both are in used or pre-owned conditions. My best options are 2022 Nissan frontier Crew Cab SV 4x4 Drive-train with 58,872 km and 2018 Toyota Tundra Double Cab SR5 Plus 4x4 Drive-train with 102,651 km. Those cars are from the same dealership that's one hour away to the city from where I reside. Please answer this question. I heard Nissan trucks are very underrated but I haven't been on the radar to upd ... | |||||

| Nissan frontier problem shifting | 15Relevance | 2 years ago | Andrew 69 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2001 nissan frontier two wheel drive with manual transmission. I recently installed a new clutch kit in it and when the motor is cold it shifts perfectly, but as soon as the motor/transmission warms up I have a problem shifting from first to second gear. If I shift slowly meaning give time for the rpms to drop it shifts into second gear without any problem, if I try to shift quickly it doesn't want to go into second. It shifts into all other gears without any problems 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 and reverse weather the motor/transmission is cold, warm or hot. ... | |||||

I have 206,000 miles on the truck but the fluid has only been changed once since the time I had it, I have noticed my truck starting to feel different when changing gears I’m not sure if my transmission is slipping or delayed shifting. Do you recommend I change the fluid? | |||||

| Well if you're not towing anything heavy, probably be the frontier would be a better deal cuz the Fords are much bigger gas hogs and their quality has been going down the toilet lately | |||||
| P0021 PD in 2011 Nissan Frontier | 15Relevance | 2 years ago | atsscorp | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty! I got a 2011 Nissan frontier 4.0L V6 engine. It’s the SV 4x4 crew cab 4WD, and I got the code p0021 pd. The truck still runs without any alarming noise but it’s slow to react to the gas pedal and the rpm needle dances while idling. Truck definitely runs rough, and my mechanic said it was a bad timing chain (the car has 212k miles on it) so they replaced the chain and the exact same problem is still there. New oil and chain, and new sprockets and actuators. Any advice? | |||||

| Brand new 2024 Frontier, seems used | 15Relevance | 2 years ago | SketchyGecko | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I've been looking at getting a new midsized truck for a long time and finally bit the bullet and bought a brand new 2024 frontier and I love it. Drove it home and noticed the engine acting funky going uphill in first and idleing slightly rough. Now this truck has 84 miles on it currently, had 9 this morning when my sales agent picked it up. Here's where it gets a little conspiratorial. The cup holders up front have a bunch of little superficially scaring that looks like use. There's wrinkling in the driver's side seat (leather/plether) that looks like a dec ... | |||||

| Nissan Frontier Steering Wheel Swap | 15Relevance | 2 years ago | Cole Beans | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| My dad is in the market for a used truck and he really wants a manual transmission. I have found him a good deal on a Used 2019 Nissan frontier pro 4X. He loves everything about the truck except for one thing. The 3 spoke steering wheel. He loves to drive with his hand resting on the bottom of the steering wheel but with Nissan's massive bottom spoke on their 2nd generation frontiers he can't do that. It seems silly but it's a deal breaker for him. I am wondering is it possible to swap out the steering wheel for a different one, or would that cause all sor ... | |||||
