| @chucktobias It had a clean car fax, and I had the dealer provide me videos of body panels. Ended up not getting it due to the age in general. | |||||

| How do you know it has been in no accidents? Have you had it examined by a mechanic? It sounds like an awful lot of money for a 9-year-old vehicle with over 150K miles. Dealerships are almost always overpriced. You can check comparables for sale in your area as well as sites such as Kelley Blue Book to get an idea of what something like that should go for. | |||||

| Well I would say it's either the wiring going to the computer or the computer itself. That's the only logical thing. Of course I would have to personally look at it. Put on a freeze frame of salescope to make sure that parts you bought are working and that there aren't other problems that are making the sensors. Give bad data such as a vacuum leak or fuel injector problem. | |||||

| I love the V 8 GX last year model. Do you recommend it? Do you think Lexus will have new SUV models coming out soon? I am looking for a little luxury and comfort in driving. I had a Solara v6 -loved that engine! I currently drive a Subaru Outback, its okay, but not a fan of the 4 cylinder, but it is alot better than my VW Beetle that drives like a golf cart. I dont need a huge SUV, but I really would like a little more power. Love your videos; I have learned a lot. Kinda scary too, a lot to think about. | |||||

| That's what I am afraid of... as Joe mentioned above, I will check the fluid color/condition and report back. Thank you very much! | |||||

| Your transmission may be starting to slip. The whole idea of a downshift is to deliver more torque to the wheels (being pulled into your seat). There's a torque band at high RPMs. If anything, a truck should have more torque for towing, sacrificing top speed. It's too late to change your transmission fluid. If you change it, will most likely start slipping even more. | |||||

| Apologies for any confusion. Yes, you can use regular unleaded. Scotty states this definitively in the first minute of the video posted above by @mmj | |||||

| Guys, my apologies for beating the dead horse, but to dumb it down so I'm clear. "Premium required for optimum engine performance and fuel economy" = 93 (or 91) is best for car/engine/ECU design on this vehicle, but 87 will not cause engine damage (if I'm hearing Scotty right in the video) just might lose some HP and MPG efficiency. Thanks again to all for the help. | |||||

| Scotty has stated (many) times "the car's computer can compensate". The lone caveat being the car not having a high performance or high compression engine. Or as is in this case, premium is not required, got it. | |||||
