| I am in college and I'm looking for used cars to buy, I live about 6 hours away from my hometown I found a 1991 Toyota Camry CE sedan 4D with 157,000 miles, automatic its from a marketplace listing asking for 3,000$. I just wanted to ask if it would be a good first car to buy, my only concern would be if the car were to leave me stranded as its 30 years old. | Hey Scotty, Im stuck trying to get a good first car (preferably used) but I somewhat do have options: 2001 Honda Accord V6 with 66k-67k mi(I plan to buy from a friend, if he sells it) 2016-present Toyota Corolla ( some were less than 160k mi)from a used car dealership or even the Toyota dealership itself. 2013-present Honda Civic (same mileage with the corollas atop) from a used car dealership or the Honda dealership itself Point is I want a good used car. | ... not a problem fix it. After four and a half hours later I'm on the road, The Highway that is. I'm sure by now you know where I'm going with this Scotty. I get about 8 to 10 miles down the highway the oil light on my car starts flashing then faster. I had driven about 4 miles give or take before I could pull over safely. Bottom line the car was knocking and there was absolutely no oil indicated on the dipstick it was bone dry. But there was signs there was oil at one time. | I'm sixteen and I'm looking to get my first car. I don't have a preference really, as long as it drives well and looks decent, and maybe has 4 wheel drive since I live somewhere that gets snowy. I have about 10,000 dollars to use right now and I'll have around 15,000 soon (but of course I'll want the cheapest option). | Hello, I'm a 18 year old male from Romania and I'm thinking about what car should I buy as my first car. I can buy a Toyota Celica 1997 1.6 Petrol or a Hyundai Accent 2006/2007. | 2020 Honda civic Si I got this civic a couple months ago (2020 si with 21,900 miles) and had to replace the tires and clutch first thing. I have another problem that I thought was related to driving with a burned out clutch but it still happens rarely after it was replaced. When switching into first gear and starting to take it will a kind of "soft" stall where there's no weird sounds or bucking and it feels like the car is engaged. | I have a 2004 Nissan 350z automatic with 68,000 miles. Occasionally after sitting for a while or overnight, the car won't start on the first try, even after leaving the keys in the "on" position for a few seconds to give the fuel pump time to start up. The car has no check engine codes either. I bought the car from the original owner, who only put about 2,000 miles on the car in his last 3 years of ownership. | Hey Scotty, a friend of mine has been saving up to get her first car. Her parents think that she should lease a car, but I think she should pay cash for a reliable used car, preferably a Toyota, that way she doesn't have to worry about monthly car payments and only being able to get full coverage insurance.
