Hey guys, I have an 06 jeep grand cherokee laredo 3.7 automatic with 170000 miles on it. My fuel efficiency and performance is wayyyy down. I cleaned the air intake, sensors, filter, throttle body, changed the spark plugs and ignition coils. Changed and replaced the transmission fluid and filter. It boggs down when going up hills and also has a slight bobble/vibration hesitation at road speed and or 1500rpms almost exactly 1500. No check engine codes either.
What fuel pressure are you getting? A clogged fuel filter or weak pump is my first thought. Bad fuel can also cause issues like that. The other thing I could think of is maybe a bad injector/s. I would start with making sure your gas is good and the fuel pressure is good.
I will get the system pressure tested by my mechanic asap. Then get the injectors cleanedThis has been a thorn in my side for over a year now. Thank you!
